Product Care
Washing Instructions (Maintaining Luxury):
  • Recommended Method (Hand Wash):Fill a basin with cool or lukewarm water.Use a small amount of pH-neutral or liquid detergent specifically formulated for silk. Never use bleach or strong detergents.Gently swish the pillowcase in the water for a few minutes. Do not rub, wring, or twist the fabric, as this damages the delicate silk fibres.Rinse well with cool water.
  • Machine Washing (Delicate Cycle):Turn the pillowcase inside out and place it inside a mesh laundry bag to protect it from friction.Use the cold water setting and the most delicate cycle available on your machine.Use only a silk-friendly detergent.
Drying & Ironing:
  • Air Dry is Best: Gently squeeze out excess water (do not wring). Lay the pillowcase flat or hang it to air dry away from direct sunlight or radiators. High heat will damage the silk fibre.
  • Avoid the Dryer: Do not tumble dry.
  • Ironing (Optional): If you desire a smoother finish, iron the pillowcase on a low or silk setting while it is still slightly damp. Always iron on the reverse (matte) side.
