Welcome to Summit Sourdough, we make sourdough starters easy! Our heirloom 125-year-old Canadian Sourdough Starter lets you start your sourdough journey with success. Our starter boasts impressive activity and predictably and consistently triples in size in 5-8 hours. Your starter will last indefinitely with proper maintenance and feeding, allowing you to create your favourite sourdough bread, pizza dough, bagels, biscuits, waffles, cinnamon buns, cookies, pancakes and more for years to come!
- WHAT YOU GET -
1 package (15g which is approximately 1.5 tablespoons) of dehydrated sourdough starter. Your starter is packed in a food-safe bag and heat sealed shut for safety. Also included are instructions on how to rehydrate your starter over 7 days, which includes some common FAQs and links to our favourite recipes and more!

MAY CONTAIN traces of RYE flour, barley, oat, and mustard as per the bread flour we use to maintain our heirloom starter.
Our sourdough starter is dried through a special process to keep the wild yeast alive. Store this package like a pantry item, in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight until ready to rehydrate.

Good Planet ships via Canada Post Expedited Parcel, which includes tracking and insurance and takes 1-6 business days depending on the destination. We reserve the right to consider other courier options, depending on labour strikes, or other potential factors. Local deliveries in the Greater Victoria Area are dispatched via GeaZone Eco Courier.
